What is up?
I hope everyone back home is doing well. Things are going good up here in Washington. We received an investigator referral from the Bishop of the Paradise Ward. I can't wait to start teaching them. All in all, we do lots of walking, lots of talking, lots of fun. We got Whitewashed into the Paradise Ward. Whitewashed into an area means two missionaries who don't know the people at all are put into it. My companion, Elder Lindholm, has been in the Lakes Ward before I got here, so it's nice not having to run around meeting everyone. Elder Lindholm is from Spanish Fork by the way. We’re covering two wards on foot because the Sisters got to keep the car. It takes 45 minutes to walk to the Paradise building. We usually walk everywhere, but we get rides from members sometimes. By the way, my belts are all pointless now. I have lost too much weight, and I am on the last hole of the belt. It is pretty much just there for show now.
Walking areas are really beneficial, but super painful at times. At the end of the day on Saturday, I walked into my apartment, took off my shoes and I noticed two huge bumps on the inside of my feet. That was interesting. I prayed for healing and comfort, iced them for like 15 minutes and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning, the bumps were totally gone, like they had never been there. Miracles are real my friends.
If you want to email and talk to me, the email is dallin.rexinger@myldsmail.net. You can hit me up whenever in the late morning on my p-days. We usually have p-days on Mondays. I have an hour and a half to email, so I will probably be able to respond to you.
Counting the MTC, I'm over a month into my mission. Time is going too fast.
Love,
Elder Rexinger
