Week 29 - Broken Foot

Hey Everyone,

Dallin apparently was playing basketball last p-day and broke his foot after someone landed on him. The Mission President called our Stake President to tell us that he is fine, and he has a what appears to be a hairline fracture in his foot. Dallin will have to be in a walking boot for about 6 weeks and non-weight bearing for the first 4 weeks. We will find out more info tomorrow after the weekly e-mails. He will most likely have been moved to the mission office, so I am sure he won’t be too happy about that.

Here is his last letter. Please help us pray for a speedy and complete recovery for Dallin.

Dear Friends and Family,

This week has been pretty good. My companion and I are doing well. We have just been doing our usual thing. We were able to teach our investigator Kyle twice this week. We were even able to bring our Bishop. Bishop Frederickson is awesome. He has a funny sense of humor. We had a great lesson followed by a commitment to come to church. Unfortunately, Kyle did not follow up on what he said. We were kinda bummed about it, but we're gonna go back and teach him the importance of church. There was a lot of other random stuff that happened, but that was the headliner in our teaching. Our teaching pool has shrunk, but were still doing good.  We have a couple of good people we are working with. Selene is no longer on date because her parents in Colombia weren't too thrilled about her wanting to be baptized. There’s that to deal with. She does live with her aunt and uncle who are less active members though.

Oh also, I had to cast out some evil spirits out of the apartment I used to live in that the sisters are now currently living in.

Thank you for the prayers and support. The Gospel is true.
